A few days ago, we conducted a field investigation, and the time limit is one week. On-the-spot observation records in such business districts as Jiufang Shopping Center in Chengdu, Taikoo Li Sanlitun in Beijing, Sun Plaza in Guangzhou, AEON Mall in Wuhan and Metro City in Shanghai.
Convenience achieves "standard"
In a self-operated restaurant, there is an 8-port counter machine of "A Electricity" next to the cash register. According to the store owner, the charging cabinet has been here for about half a year and is often borrowed by customers.
"Customers borrow power banks. There are 4 or 5 in the lunch market. There may be more in the evening market. During the peak meal period, the cabinets are basically vacant."
Although this machine can't add too much revenue to itself, for our store, "convenience for customers is to retain customers". Shared power banks seem to have gradually become the "standard" of a service.
In addition to catering, there is also a great demand for shared power banks in other scenarios, such as shopping malls, Internet cafes, amusement parks, etc.
We originally thought that the Internet cafe itself had computers to charge mobile phones, and customers did not have much demand for power banks. In fact, more people in Internet cafes still choose to share the power bank.
One, customers don’t necessarily carry charging cables with them.
Second, the power supply current of the computer host is too small, and the charging speed is as slow as a snail, which cannot meet the needs of users for charging.
3. Now the charging speed of the power bank is very fast. Although it is not as fast as the fast charging charger, it is much easier to use than the computer host charging 10% of the power in half an hour.
Cooperating with merchants to launch shared power banks can create a win-win situation. Customers can borrow shared power banks, agents can make money, and merchants can retain customers and increase customer orders. When it comes to the shared power bank business, I believe that more friends can also see business opportunities and enjoy the gold mining industry chain brought by the era of sharing economy.
